Shepherding the NextGen
Mark your calendars to attend this special OBN meeting focused on shepherding the next generation through intentional discipleship and whole-church faithfulness. This meeting is not simply a “youth pastor event,” but designed for pastors and ministry workers alike who bear responsibility for preaching, shepherding families, discipling young people, and raising up future leaders!
Paul Norton will open with an exposition of Psalm 78 & Titus 2 on reaching the next generation through a church-wide culture of discipleship.
Izzac VanderSchel (Peniel Bible Camp) will share how camp ministry can serve as a catalyst for helpful year-round discipleship in the local church.
Jacob Wells and Brent Long will offer practical counsel on building youth ministry that is rooted in Scripture with our church parents and into the life and worship of the whole church.
We will end with a brief panel discussion with our speakers Paul Norton, Izzac VanderSchel, Brent Long, Jacob Wells, and also Josh Young and Derek Whitman speaking to how we can intentionally shepherd the next generation and raise up leaders to be faithful servants of Christ.
