Since entering higher education ministry in 1995, he has taught Bible, theology, and practical ministry courses while investing deeply in the next generation of Christian leaders. Prior to his current role, he served for 26 years at West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, California. Passionate about helping believers rightly divide and apply the Word of God, Mike continues to provide trusted biblical resources and teaching beyond the classroom. His writing and ministry focus on Bible, theology, and practical Christian living, with regular content published to encourage spiritual growth and faithful discipleship. Mike and his wife, Jen, have been married since 1995 and faithfully serve in their local church. Together they have five daughters—two married, one attending college, and two still at home—as well as two grandchildren who affectionately call them “Pops” and “Lollie.” Raised in a preacher’s home, Mike follows a family legacy of gospel ministry, with both his grandfather and great-grandfather serving as preachers and communicators of biblical truth. He remains grateful for the opportunity to continue walking in that heritage through teaching, writing, and serving the church.
