Guest Speaker
Mike Lester serves as chair of the undergraduate ministry department at Veritas Baptist College and also directs student services. Since entering higher education ministry in 1995, he has taught Bible, theology, and practical ministry courses while investing deeply in the next generation of Christian leaders. Prior to his current role, he served for 26 years at West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, California.
Passionate about helping believers rightly divide and apply the Word of God, Mike continues to provide trusted biblical resources and teaching beyond the classroom. His writing and ministry focus on Bible, theology, and practical Christian living, with regular content published to encourage spiritual growth and faithful discipleship.
Raised in a preacher’s home, Mike follows a family legacy of gospel ministry, with both his grandfather and great-grandfather serving as preachers and communicators of biblical truth. He remains grateful for the opportunity to continue walking in that heritage through teaching, writing, and serving the church.
